The Advanced Test Series

Ten full-length LNATs at elite difficulty. Train at the ceiling, so test day feels within reach.

From £99.99 · 10 tests · 120 passages · 420 questions · 30 essay prompts · Instant access

One test shows you where you stand. Ten change where you stand.

A single hard test tells you how you perform today. Consistency at the top of the LNAT comes from repeated exposure to the hardest material, until the reasoning that once took three readings takes one.

The Advanced Test Series gives you that exposure. Every test is set at Level 10, the top of MasterLNAT's Progressive Difficulty System and the ceiling of real LNAT difficulty. Every distractor is built from real passage content that has been subtly overstated, misapplied or moved to the wrong context, which is exactly how strong candidates lose marks on test day.

The ten tests are ordered by a measured difficulty index, so the series climbs steadily within the elite band instead of jumping around.

What's inside

  • 10 full-length LNAT tests. Each has 12 passages and 42 questions on a 95-minute timer, matching the real Section A in structure, passage length and question-type mix.
  • 120 passages with zero topic overlap. Every passage in the series is on a different subject, so no test repeats territory you have already seen.
  • Comparative dual-source passages, where you weigh two authors against each other. Many candidates find this the hardest format on the paper.
  • 30 Section B essay prompts. Each test has three original prompts; as on the real LNAT, you choose one and write for 40 minutes.
  • A detailed written explanation for every question. Each one shows why the correct answer holds and exactly where every distractor goes wrong.
  • A score interpretation guide for every test. It translates your raw score into a predicted LNAT band and tells you what to work on next.
  • Audio walkthroughs for every question in the Written + Audio tier. They are scripted separately from the written explanations, so you hear the reasoning explained the way a tutor would talk it through.

Who this is for

  • Candidates aiming for Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, LSE and other highly competitive law programmes, where a strong LNAT score can set an application apart
  • Students applying to Jindal Global Law School who want preparation well above the baseline
  • Students who have finished the official LNAT practice tests and need new, harder material
  • Anyone who scored well on the Advanced Sampler Test and wants to turn one strong result into consistency

Where this fits in your preparation

The Advanced Test Series is the final stage of MasterLNAT preparation. If you are not sure you are ready for it, start with one of these:

  • The Advanced Sampler Test (£18) is one full-length test at the same standard. Take it first to find out whether elite-level practice is right for you now.
  • The PDS Test Series builds the skill in stages, from Level 7 to Level 10. Finish it, and you arrive exactly where the Advanced Test Series begins.

The Advanced Sampler Test

One full-length LNAT at elite difficulty. Find out where you stand before test day.

£18   ·   Instant access   ·   Full LNAT format: 42 questions + essay

Most practice material is too easy. This test is not.

Strong LNAT candidates don't lose marks on the passages they understand. They lose marks on the distractors that nearly work: answers built from real passage content that has been slightly overstated, misapplied, or moved to the wrong context.

The Advanced Sampler Test is built to that standard. It's a complete, full-length Section A paper taken from the same production process as our 10-test Advanced Series, so you're practising under real LNAT conditions at a difficulty that shows you exactly where your reasoning slips.

What's inside

  • 12 passages, 42 questions, matching the structure, passage lengths, and question-type mix of the real LNAT Section A.
  • Two comparative dual-source passages, where you weigh two authors against each other. Many candidates find this the hardest format on the paper.
  • Every distractor drawn from the passage itself. Nothing is invented and nothing is off-topic, so each wrong answer tests a real reasoning error.
  • Two explanations for every question, each written for its own format. A detailed written explanation and a separately scripted video walkthrough show you why the correct answer holds and exactly where each distractor goes wrong.

Twelve topics admissions tutors care about

The passages cover the ethical, legal, and philosophical ground that Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, LSE, and other leading law schools expect you to reason through:

Acts and omissions Legal fictions Adaptive preferences Complicity Assisted dying (comparative) Forgiveness Civil disobedience (comparative) Supererogation The reasonable person standard Institutional betrayal Fiduciary duty The Sorites paradox

None of these passages appear anywhere else in the MasterLNAT Advanced Series, so if you go on to the full series, every passage will still be new to you.

Who this is for

  • Candidates aiming for Oxbridge, UCL, LSE, and other highly competitive law programmes.
  • Students applying to Jindal Global Law School who want preparation well above the baseline.
  • Anyone who has worked through the official LNAT practice tests and wants to know how they perform when the paper gets harder.
  • Students deciding whether the full Advanced Test Series is right for them.

Why start with the Sampler

The full Advanced Test Series is a 10-test commitment. The Sampler lets you try the standard first. Take it under timed conditions, then work through the written, audio, and video explanations. You'll know whether this level of challenge is what your preparation needs.

Ready for more?

The Advanced Test Series gives you 10 more full-length tests at the same standard: 120 passages, 420 questions, and zero topic overlap. Written, audio, and AI tutor tiers are available.

Frequently asked questions

It's designed to be at the top end of real LNAT difficulty. If you can handle the Sampler, the real Section A should feel manageable.

Yes. Like the real LNAT, you choose one of three essay prompts and have 40 minutes to write.

[Access period, e.g. 12 months]

Every question comes with a written explanation and a video walkthrough, and they're not the same content in two formats. Each one is written separately for its medium. The written explanation is precise and structured, so you can study it at your own pace and come back to the key distinctions. The video walks you through the reasoning as it unfolds, the way a tutor would talk you through a hard question. It's a MasterLNAT feature you won't find in most LNAT practice material: two genuinely different routes to understanding every question.

No. All 12 Sampler passages are exclusive to this test.
